(OK, we took some liberties with the name of the place. Have a Baby Ruth candy bar yourself and you can even comment about that.)It was 100 years ago that Jack Norworth composed the music for "Take Me Out To The Ball Game," and now all of us get to celebrate our favorite seventh-inning stretch song in this unique and completely fun way. Everyone loves the song. Everyone has sang it. Get all the rules on the main page at MLB.com, including the lyrics.
Enter the contest, give your best performance of the song everyone knows by heart, spread the word to all your friends and family, and keep coming back here to see what others say as the season goes along. May 26 is the last day to enter, so you have a lot of time to get it perfect. Fans will vote online starting in June, choosing from 10 semi-finalists. The three contestants with the most votes will go to the All-Star FanFest in front of a celebrity panel of judges, and the winner will be picked and will perform during the All-Star Game.
